Great question! This is primarily a blog of me cooking for my kids. However, after annoyingly taking pictures of every step and taking too long to get the food on table, I had to take a break. You can still find those recipes here on the blog, but going forward I’m only going to post a recipe for a weekly live stream cooking session, hopefully every Wednesday at 6:30pm EST. Yes, I did say live stream. It’s something new and exciting that I hope you’ll join me and follow along.
Here’s how it’s going to work:
Every Sunday (or Monday) I’ll post a recipe that I’ll be making on Wednesday. That way you can plan to cook along with me, live! The stream will be on Facebook and then I’ll upload the full video (unedited) to my YouTube channel. A few days later I’ll upload a shorter version (edited) version as well. Like my Facebook page and subscribe to my YouTube channel (also click on the notifications bell).
The recipes will have the following criteria:
- Start to finish in under an hour
- Cost per person is less than a fast food meal ($8)
- Healthy, fresh, and tasty ingredients
- Kids involved in selecting recipes, prepping, cooking, and serving
- Have fun!
Remember, dads can cook too and so can you!
What my intro video saying basically the same thing.
