It’s a Girl!

So for the past few months we’ve had a secret. It’s been hard to keep it a secret at times, but we’re finally letting the “baby” out of the bag.

WE’RE HAVING A GIRL! (technically my wife is having the baby, but I’m just paying for it. ha!)

She’s due around March 9th and I can’t be more excited, but I think I’m still in shock. There’s going to be more pink around the house, more money to spend, and more drama coming. I know God is in control and everything will work out, but the one girl I have has a strong personality and having two of these seems overwhelming. At least I know what I’m getting into, right? I cherish my daughter who gives great big hugs and squeals of excitement when I come home. She can be helpful, caring, and thoughtful. She’s smart, funny, and absolutely gorgeous. She takes after my wife in many of her great qualities. My prayer is that this new daughter will be healthy, and I’m looking forward to her being a source of joy and love to our family.

Any dads out there with multiple girls? How do you handle it? Any advice is greatly appreciated. Help!

She wouldn’t hold still for a decent sonogram, but check out the soccer legs!

I am NOT convinced this is a GIRL—pictures can be deceptive but I am THRILLED for a new baby to hold and hug and love! You both are great parents and we are very proud of you and your wonderful family! Our prayers of God’s daily blessings on all of you…..Much Love, OMA

Congrats!! There I times when I wonder if there is anything better in this world than having a daughter…but I guess having two probably 1-ups that sentiment.

Funny, I thought they looked like Karate legs! She’s already beautiful and I can’t wait to meet her and find out what she will use those legs for! Ooooh, I wonder what her name will be? Nathan, I have no doubt you will do beautifully in your new role of Dad of Two Princesses! Alex will be very supportive, I’m sure. Congratulations!

I’ve got three girls, ages 6, 5, and 2. They are all a source of love, amusement, joy, and awesomeness.

You seem like such a great dad, I’m sure you will be able to handle another girl! Congratulations!!
